The Wool Wave

This collection was created as a part of my bachelor's thesis. It focuses on the processing of a raw wool waste as a local Czech material, which many sheep farmers do not have further use for. In this collection also old woolen yarns are used. Through the process of handwashing, scouring, and felting, unique non-woven textiles are crafted from the dirty sheep's fleece, which are then further utilized in creating clothing pieces within the collection. The yarns are transformed into original knits and the garments made from them become ready-to-wear element of this collection.
