Chemapol

The Chemapol building is a controversial topic in the last years because of its planned demolition. It has its supporters and opponents. The issue resonates in the public space, provokes emotions. I have created a set of brooches that serve as a tribute to the building that is destined for destruction. The rainbow facade and the reflections are characteristic, that is why I used it in the work. The brooches can be used as kaleidoscopes, where colours and shapes reflect. In this way I have brought playfulness to the brooches, which I think is essential in both architecture and jewellery.
