Memory

The piece is inspired by a memory of my childhood lived through in the intimacy of my family circle. I associate this memory with yellow ornamental glass bearing a geometric pattern, which used to color the light on our staircase. Although it is no longer there, I still remember it, and its honey tint brings with it fond memories of my youth. It reminds me of home, the sense of belonging we feel when we are where we truly ought be. To me a symbol of family togetherness is the dining table above which a light object warmly coloring our feelings.
