Basket-like, basket-what, basket-why...

Project speculates on the possibilities of mimic textiles demonstrated in the object of basket as the origin of textiles. Through experimentation, it plays out a spatial and visual illusion testing the limits of jacquard weaving. It wants to draw attention to the nuances and qualities of everyday textiles and reveal their agency. Created archive discusses the simple interweaving of horizontal and vertical lines, the creation of spatiality directly on the jacquard machine using multiayered bindings and efect yarns, or the double illusion.
