When creating the speaker, I was inspired by a drop of water falling on the surface, due to the similarity with the transmission of sound waves in space. They, like water waves, can spread their energy in all directions by mechanical waves, which propagate against all states with the help of forces acting between particles. So, based on these similarities, I recorded 15 different drops and was inspired by the sound wave created by the drop just upon impact. I created many different 3D models, but in the end I decided to go with a rotary shape created using curve, created with the recording.
