Medical device for the treatment of carpal tunnel

This work focuses on carpal tunnel syndrome. The main aim of the work was to create a functional design prototype brace for patients suffering from the condition. The brace consists of two parts: a two-part skeleton and a magnetic plate. The skeleton is made of 3D printing from a flexible filament to better adhere to the hand and is lined with a neoprene insert. The skeleton is symmetrical, allowing it to be worn on both the right and left hands. The plate is replaceable and makes it possible (as needed by the patient) to adjust the stiffness of the brace itself.
