Saguaro

Hanging rack for clothes inspired by the Carnegiea gigantea, the tallest species of cactus. The hanger has an ingenious system of hinged hooks designed to evoke the cactus' spines. The object was created as a third year thesis, is made from scrap plywood and is meant to reference the ever-shrinking living space of this plant. It won the top prize in the Professor Jindřich Halabala Prize 2022 in the category of Furniture and Interior Design for Secondary Schools.
