Porcelain chess inspired by the story of the tree

Porcelain chess set inspired by the story of the old tree. The technology of casting in plaster molds made it possible to preserve the remains of its wood and imprint its likeness in porcelain. The hierarchy of the chess pieces was preserved even when choosing their base. The king and queen were taken from the top. The bishop, knight and rook were originally one piece broken off from the center of the trunk. The pawn was taken from the edge, from the bark. A symbolic step at the base of each figure marks the transition of the wood to a higher level. The czech name Remíza carries a hide subtext.
