Between the Senses

Author's book inspired by synesthesia and intersensory interactions

Synesthesia is owned by 4% of the population and it is a unique phenomenon in which two or more senses overlap. These people perceive numbers in color, see colors when listening to music, or taste colors and shapes. The book Between the Senses captures taste and smell sensations, using abstract illustrations. The reader can use the clues in the book's introduction or their imagination to reveal the sensations. Due to the QR code, the illustrations come to life in a new context. Colors and shapes are accompanied by their audio interpretation, momentarily revealing the world of synaesthetes.
