An artist’s non-fiction picture book called They, them explores the history of people from all over the gender spectrum. Stories from different times and places, from prehistory to the 80s, can help to better understand the diversity of gender and show that it is fun to discover one owns identity. Illustrations were made as an experiment of combining digital techniques and classical gouache painting. The book is originally a diploma thesis closing my studies in the Studio of Non-fiction Illustration at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art.
