The death of every single inhabitant carries an individual and painful story, many of which will never see the light of day. The aim of the Mariupol Digital Memorial project is to search for them, preserving them, and use them to point out the horrific effects of the war on ordinary people. At the same time, the project tries to create an alternative memorial to the victims, which at the time of its implementation cannot be physically created in the city itself, via immersive web experience.
