The story of the book tells the life and work of Ludwig van Beethoven. The book, which is for children from the age of 10, shows the influences of classical music on future musical stages. Full page illustrations depict life events that influenced the composer in his work. Illustrations are made by palette-knife relief painting technique and some spreads are graphically supplemented by abstract illustrations, printed with piano hammers from Viennese mechanics. Paintings are the mainstay and the major factor in telling the story.
