Old lion and young monkey

The Old Lion and the Young Monkey are, at first glance, a book of poems by my grandpa-botanist. On the other hand, it deals with our demaged relationship, history and the future of our family and my childhood, which my grandfather influenced a lot. In the right part of the book, formally playful poetry is set. On the left is my author's part, where I use illustrations drawn over carbon paper to respond to fragments from my and grandfather's past. Both parts are sorted by time and can be compared with each other. The book is toned in blue-yellow, as the grandfather is colorblind.
