Softness as a Practice of Self-Care
EMBRACE is a series of ceramic objects created as a search for balance in a time of uncertainty. I explore softness as a sculptural form of care—letting clay crack, sag, and yield to gravity. I don’t try to fix everything, but stay with it. The tension between release and structure shapes the outcome. Here, softness is not weakness, but a way of being firmly and gently present.
