Two Hands, Four Elements

Aid for Visually Impaired Children Supporting Cerebral Hemisphere Connection

Two Hands, Four Elements is a tactile aid designed to support brain hemisphere integration in children with visual impairments. The aid is thematically inspired by the natural elements and consists of four sets of cards, each representing one of the elements. Each set is distinguished by its material and shape, and their tactile exploration supports the connection of the cerebral hemispheres. The sets also contain descriptions of the elements in Braille. The aid includes a non-slip mat to help users better use both hands while exploring the cards without having to hold them.
