Stories of the Rocks

The jewellery series Stories of the Rocks is based on my passion for rock climbing and my fascination with the age and forms of stone. It is inspired by a brief encounter between a climber and an ancient rock, shaped over centuries into a natural sculpture by slow geological processes. In my pieces, I explore the idea that, despite the fleeting nature of this meeting, the climber leaves a small trace — a record of overcoming fear — which becomes part of the rock’s long story.
