LIO – Exhibition in Nature

LIO is a concept of an outdoor exhibition designed for the SMACH Art Park in South Tyrol. Its organic, open circular shape symbolizes the cycle of life, with exhibition spaces divided into eight sections representing its various stages. The structure is partially embedded into a slope, topped with a green roof, and surrounded by a central pond. Natural materials—acacia wood and concrete—were used. The project connects architecture, landscape, and fine art, offering a gentle form of invisible architecture that responds sensitively to the natural context and supports the idea of renewal.
