Flexible coverage for lower limb prostheses

The aim of the work was to create a lower limb prosthesis cover based on a 3D scan of a healthy lower limb, thus tailored to the patient, using modern 3D printing technology. A flexible perforated element is used in the knee area to allow easier bending and return of the prosthesis to its original state. The design was inspired by the biomechanics of the human body, flexible geometric structures, and patterns, with an emphasis on the functionality and overall aesthetics of the prototype.
