Touches of Water

The work captures the uniqueness of the human fingerprint, disrupted by the influence of water. Fingerprints – a symbol of identity – are deformed, dissolving like traces in a fluid environment. The porcelain vases were shaped organically, echoing the nature of water itself. The resulting objects reflect tension between order and chaos, human and nature, permanence and transience.
