MAC-0

MAC-0 is a mini desktop CNC mill designed for machining soft materials. The machine is aimed at amateur-hobbyists in the field of computer numerical controlled milling, and for educational institutions. The base of the design is a fully modular structure made out of 3D printed parts, designed be simple to assemble. Movement of the toolhead along the three axis is powered by standard stepper motors and the machine is controlled by an Arduino Uno development board. Design of the covers ensures maximum safety of the user. The result is a fully functional 1:1 scale prototype.
