With Kafka on the Road

Since 2003, the authors have visited 70 places in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and France that are associated with Kafka. They have traced individual locations according to clues in the author's diaries and letters. The publication has a minimalist, contrasting colour design, which is enhanced by the letters from Franz Kafka's original signatures, which are used in some of the chapter headings. The reader can read the book as a continuous text or as extracts from Kafka's diaries, which are distinctly different from the rest of the content.
