Under the surface

The book reveals the background and workings of the modeling industry. I have been working as a model since I was fourteen and through autoethnographic texts and interviews with people in the industry I outline the true nature of modeling and the fashion industry - its bad and good sides. The text part deals with diverse experiences and topics such as body-positivity, the functioning of agencies, psychological influences or the absurdity of balancing personal life and work. There is much more behind the faces in the photographs. We are all individuals and have unique stories and personalities.
