e-jing

The e-jing project explores the principles of the Chinese Book of Changes (Yijing / I Ching). My goal was to create a visualization of the abstract relationships between yin and yang elements that provides more detail than the traditional six horizontal lines. I also sought a different way to interact with these hexagrams than the static arrangement in a book. This led to the creation of an interactive diagram hosted on ejing.me website. It is dedicated to those who wish to spend time in silence and privacy studying the Book of Changes, ones and zeros, and the imprint of wind on water.
