The Mushroom

Environmental Fable

The author's book Houba is a warning against environmental and social issues. The story is based on a fairy tale about Ant, who is hiding from the rain under the mushroom. Other animals are longing for shelter, and in spite of everything, they always fit tightly there. In the original story, the rain stops at the end, butit doesn't in the Mushroom and the reader can choose alternative ending - the problem that the animals have to face. How do they deal with hunger, disease, newcomers or floods?
