Home Is Where
author's book with photographs and text
The word "home" does not bring me the warm feeling that society typically associates with an ideal home. It is wrapped in a sense of loneliness, abandonment, and suppression of one's own identity. I find all these emotions in the world around me and photograph them. The book contains four texts from me and my family members about what home means to us. It serves as an intimate diary, balancing between personal and universal. To support or challenge the concept of home, I used a velvet cover and script font for every instance of the word "home."
