For the twentieth anniversary of the National Award for Student Design jury gave us truly special gift. We can honestly say that we haven’t ever seen such a bomb in the history of the competition… We do not want to be sexists, but Anna Marešová doesn’t give us much choice – she’s the first girl ever who has won the National Award, moreover with the work that we would hardly find more delicate topic in the field of from women’s lifes. Sex toys for women (not only) in terms of gynecology Whoop-de-doo extend the boundaries of perception of what is actually in the designer’s job description.

So complex and sophisticated corporate design to what Martha Maštálková began we do not see very often. The issue of wine, its cultivation, processing and distribution drew the author so much, that she managed to cover almost all the demands of winer’s family and few others, which they previously did not know about…

Actually there wasn’t many architectural designs this year in the competition. However those works that have reached the final round and to grips of the National Jury, had exceptional quality, as it proves the bridge from Michal Šírek.

Catherine Reich from Pilsen Institute of Art and Design of University of West Bohemia comes up with a futuristic jewelry made from silver wire, which holds on the ear, however to call it an earring would be a little tricky. With the traditional earing has mullatem simillar just the destination on body.

Magdalena Čurdová and Tereza Matyášková, two students of Interior Design Studio in Usti nad Labem, have combined their creativity in the design competition of ABB company, which is active in nearly one hundred countries around the world as a provider of technologies for power engineering and automation. Girls have come up with a set of household wiring material called Lumen. And they won!

Tato futuristická reakce na poslední trendy v cestování vynesla Jakubovi nejen inženýrský titul na VUT v Brně, ale už také účast na několika výstavách a mediální úspěch.
